The Life and Medical Sciences Programme at UCL saw two central phases, referred to as 'Contract A' and 'Contract B'. These phases facilitated the comprehensive refurbishment and alteration of twelve distinct areas situated across the Bloomsbury Estate.

Duration: April ’23 – Aug ‘23

Duration: May ’23 – Nov ‘23

The scope of each individual project varied, with key upgrades including Fire Stopping, Lighting, FF&E, MEP and replacement of all finishes (Flooring, Ceilings and Decorations).

Despite the ongoing construction, all buildings remained occupied throughout, with close liaison between our Project Team and the Building Managers to implement a range of control measures, minimising disruption to the occupants. Noise & Vibration restrictions were in place due to the sensitive environment of the neighbouring laboratories.
