Social Value
We are dedicated to ensuring that our initiatives align with our core values, allowing us to make a positive impact and lasting difference in the communities we serve, and we collaborate to identify local needs and priorities. Our Social Value Policy outlines our commitment and key objectives to maximise and measure the Public Benefit we create.
We utilise the Impact Evaluation Standard (IES) to quantify our Social Value activities, accurately recording, managing and calculating the social, economic and environmental impact that we and our Supply Chain partners create on our projects.
Since 2021 we have created over £36,000,000 of measurable social value on key projects, frameworks and regional activities, including;
246 apprenticeship weeks delivered
£29,078,619 created through contract opportunities awarded to SMEs and local suppliers
Currently, we have two apprentices and six employees in management trainee and graduate programmes
156 hours spent supporting the local community-led initiatives
