To accommodate the live school environment in which we were operating within, this decarbonisation project of Maple Grove Primary School, a trial project by Hertfordshire County Council, was delivered in eight phases.

 Asbestos was removed from the windows, roof-light linings and school hall.  

 The fabric first approach to this retrofit has improved the energy performance of the school through reroofing of the entire building, installation of 66 double glazed window sets and replacement of 20 external door sets.
